AC & FURNACE REPLACEMENT
This homeowner’s existing system had given out with a failed compressor, so we handled a complete replacement, both the air conditioner and the furnace. We installed a new Trane 13 SEER condenser paired with a 96% high-efficiency furnace, and replaced the line set piping in full to ensure a clean, leak-free system from end to end. The new equipment is running efficiently and keeping the home comfortable year-round.

FULL AC SYSTEM REPLACEMENT
Completed a full system replacement at a York home outdoor AC unit plus an attic air handler. We started by recovering the old refrigerant (4 lbs of R-410A) before removing the existing equipment and line set. From there we installed a new Trane 18 SEER variable-speed condenser on a fresh pad with a new outdoor disconnect, ran a new line set with line hide, and tied a new air handler into the existing ductwork. For added protection we added two safety switches in the drain pans to guard against condensate overflow, and finished with a new comfort-control thermostat.
completed a full startup, and added 1 lb of R-454B to dial in the charge. Final readings came in excellent: 110 PSI suction, 240 PSI head, 7° subcooling, 54°F supply and 74°F return for a strong 20° delta. System is running great and performing exactly as it should.

AC NOT COOLING - DIAGNOSED REFRIGERANT LEAK
Responded to a no-cooling call on a Trane system. On arrival we found the outdoor condenser coil completely plugged with debris, so we pulled the side panels and top, thoroughly washed the coil, and vacuumed the leaves packed in the bottom of the unit. After reassembly the pressures came in very low 60 PSI suction, 180 PSI head pointing to a refrigerant leak. We opened the evaporator coil cover above the furnace and confirmed a leak at the back of the evaporator coil. To get the homeowner cooling again right away, we added 2–3 lbs of R-410A to bring the system up to an operational charge; pressures recovered to a healthy 120 PSI suction and 240 PSI head, and the system is cooling well. We were upfront that this is a temporary fix, the leaking evaporator coil needs replacement to hold charge long-term and we’re following up with coil replacement options.
